Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

Benovia's Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is a blend of fruit with a predominance of grapes from our own Martaella Estate Vineyard in the Russian River Valley AVA. A cold growing season pushed the 2010 harvest back nearly a month, but provided exceptional raw materials to craft a wine that displays all the classic characteristics of a truly outstanding Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. The wine's aromas are clearly dominated by bright red fruit tones of Bing cherry and red raspberry, while black fruits dominate on the palate. The bright aromas expand and give way to candied orange peel and pepperming spice notes. Tannins are beautifully proportioned and provide backbone to the wine's sweet middle and delicate, earthy finish. Available now during our Spring 2012 Release.
