Planted in 1970, this spectacular Pinot Noir Vineyard would be considered old by California standards. Originally planted to a massale selection of Pinot Noir (likely Martini 13 and Pommard), Cohn Vineyard outdates most other plantings in the Russian River Valley by some 20 years. Benovia's signature wine from our legendary estate vineyard is dominated by intense black cherry and raspberry aromas with layers of spice. Year after year this site's hallmark is an ethereally-floral aromatic quality, fine tannins and a long complex finish.
