In crafting this Pinot Noir our objective was to create a wine that was the best possible expression of all of the sub-regions of the Russian River Valley. A blend of Pinot Noir from several different vineyards, this wine captures the black fruits indicative of Green Valley, the red fruit aspects of the Middle Reach and the earth and spice of Laguna de Santa Rosa. This blend is the winemakers' most personal expression. The alluring aromas of vine-ripened blackberries, lilac and sandalwood converge with exotic east-Asian spices and earth elements to produce an amazingly complex wine. The heady aromas lead into equally vibrant flavors of black cherry and raspberry all framed by sweet, generous tannins.
